Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you book with EnergySense Reno Spray Foam Insulation, an insulation contractor in Reno, NV. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

When a written estimate or job agreement for your house says something different from this page, the written agreement for your job controls.

What we do

We install, top up and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings, including spray foam, blown-in insulation, attic and crawl space insulation, air sealing and vapor barriers. You can see what we offer from our home page and read about our crew on the about page.

Service descriptions on this site are general information about the trade. They aren't a promise that a particular product or method fits your house, because that depends on what we find once we've looked at your attic, walls or crawl space in person.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates with no pressure to book. Each estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit, such as the size of the space, what's already up there, the material you choose and how easy the area is to reach.

Some conditions only show once the work starts, like insulation that was soaked, droppings, buried vents or damaged framing under old material. If we find something like that, we stop and talk with you before doing extra work, and we won't charge for added work you haven't approved.

Prices or examples mentioned anywhere on this website are general and aren't an offer. Your written estimate is the price for your job, and it holds for the period stated on it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delivery, earlier jobs running long or conditions found on site can push a date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear stored items from attics, closets and crawl spaces we need to reach, unless we've agreed to do that for you. Some foam products need the house empty for a set time after spraying, and you agree to follow the re-entry time we give you, which is when people and pets can safely come back inside.

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us at (775) 447-1048 or reach us through our contact page as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered special materials or arrived on site, you may be responsible for costs we can't recover, as stated in your written agreement.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are set out in your written estimate or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause unfinished work until the account is brought current, and you're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance where the law allows it.

Our guarantee and what we don't promise

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the installation isn't right, tell us and we'll come back to look at it and make it right where the problem comes from our work.

Insulation materials carry their makers' own warranties, and those terms are set by the maker, not by us. Beyond our guarantee and any written warranty in your agreement, we don't promise a specific drop in your power bill, a certain temperature in any room or a particular result, because those depend on your house, your heating and cooling system and how you use them.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from leaks, pests, storms, later work by others or changes made to the insulation after we leave.

Limits on our liability

We're fully licensed and insured, and we're responsible for damage our crew causes while working at your property. To the fullest extent Nevada law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of the house, lodging costs or lost income, and our total liability on any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.

This website

The content on this site is for general information and may change without notice. We work to keep it accurate, but we don't guarantee it's complete or current, and it isn't a substitute for an in-person look at your house.

The text, photos and logos on this site belong to EnergySense Reno Spray Foam Insulation and can't be copied for commercial use without our permission. Links to other websites are for convenience, and we aren't responsible for what's on them.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, please call us first, because most problems get sorted out quickly once we talk them through. We'll respond within 1 business day.

If we can't resolve it together, either side may bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction in Washoe County, Nevada, including small claims court where the amount qualifies.

Governing law

These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law. Where a job is outside Nevada and that state's law requires its own rules to apply, those rules apply to that part of the work.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. A change won't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or agreement.

If you have a question about these terms, reach us through our contact page or call (775) 447-1048.
